<p>The divorce was finalized in late January and I believe the court gave the veteran until October to complete refinance. There was no second mortgage. The refinance of the original mortgage along with the debts consolidated were all included in the new first mortgage. The veteran actually saved money on a monthly basis after consolidating the debt. </p>

The scenario you described where the investor owns the lot free and clear may work. Tell your clients to sign up with Experian and pull an Experian only credit report. </p>

The last car I purchased I was pre-approved with Capital One prior to walking into any dealership. </p>
