• The coming Super El Nino and our CA residents…

You have probably heard or seen stories about the developing “Super El Nino” weather pattern, and what it could mean for Southern California this winter.

The current predictions are that it will be one of the wettest winters we have seen in many years, with significant storms and periods of heavy rainfall. We all know what happened last time we had lots of rain, and our streets are not prepared for it. There is a higher than usual chance of flooding. With that in mind, I wanted to take a moment to remind you about something that is easy to overlook when preparing for a heavy rainy season. Flood Insurance.

Your standard home policy does not protect you from damage caused by flooding.

Here is the important part, you generally cannot wait until the rain starts, because a Flood policy has a 30 day waiting period before the policy takes effect. When a major storm hits, it’s already too late to get protection from that storm.

Our job is to help protect you from what might happen and to be prepared for all eventualities, to that end, we are sending out these reminders.

If you have questions about flood insurance, or would like a quote, please give me a call or click the link below for a quick quote. I am here to help.
