This small town in Texas with 50 full time cops in a town of 250 residents reminds me of Rosemont Illinois. The Rosemont police department has similar ratio of cops versus residents of Rosemont. If you want to be a cop wannabe, Rosemont Illinois is where you want to set up residency.

Mortgage bankers can charge 5% or more in commission. The higher the commission the higher the rate to the consumer.

Juan Merchan is a judge for the Criminal Court of the Supreme Court of the State of New York in Manhattan. Until he went wacko on former President Donald Trump, Juan Merchan was respected by parties of both sides. In May 2022, he was assigned to preside over the criminal case against former President Donald Trump’s family business, the Trump Organization. The Trump Organization was accused of helping top executives avoid income taxes on bonuses, luxury perks and other compensation. In December 2022, Judge Merchan sentenced the Trump Organization to pay a $1.6 million criminal penalty after it was convicted of tax fraud and other charges. Juan Merchan has also presided over other high-profile cases in New York, including the criminal case against former movie producer Harvey Weinstein in 2020. Merchan has served as a judge in New York since 2009 when he was initially appointed to the Criminal Court bench. Prior to becoming a judge, he worked as a prosecutor in the office of the New York County District Attorney for over a decade. Juan Merchan is an experienced New York judge who has overseen several major white-collar and celebrity criminal trials in recent years, most notably the Trump Organization tax fraud case in 2022. However, many experts believe Juan Merchan hung his own throat. Judge Juan Merchan went for the jugular against former President Donald Trump. Many loan officers love what they do. However, most Mortgage Loan Originators can no longer support their families if the head of the household is a full time loan officer or owner of a small mom and pop Mortgage Broker company. Large retail mortgage companies are bleeding and most are sinking. You will see many more mortgage companies close its doors and not survive this mortgage and housing crisis.
