Are German Shepherd Dogs Good With Other Dogs & Kids
One of the most frequently asked questions about German Shepherd dogs is “are German Shepherd dogs good with children and other pets such as large dogs, toy breeds, cats, and birds. I can attest to mine and my first German Shepherd I had Jeannie when I was in high school. From my experience, there is no other dog than a German Shepherd dog that is better with other animals. I have 11 dogs and Chase, my German shepherd. Plus 3 cats and one African Grey parrot. Chase gets along with everyone. The dogs I have are
1. Female 2 year old Pit Bull adopted
2. EIGHT year old female Standard Poodle rescue
3. FIVE year old Shitz Szu and pomeranian mix
4. Eleven year old toy Poodle
5. FIVE year old teacup yorkshire terrier.
6. & 7. Two Boston Terrier Terrier.
8. FIVE year old teacup toy Poodle
9. FIVE year old toy Poodle.
10. Six year old teacup chihuahua rescue.
11. Two year old French Bull Dog adopted
#12:Chase my MAN. Long Hair GERMAN SHEPHERD dog.
Three one year old cats.
Chase gets along with everyone including the cats. However, Chase looks like a mean German Shepherd guard dog but acts like a teacup lap dog and cat. That’s because you are who you hang with. I may need to get him a brother or sister German Shepherd dog so he can act his age.

I had a short haired black Shepard in 1972, Nero. I would love to have more dogs, very expensive. I heard your bird on the phone all day!

Lol. That bird 🐦 is an African Grey. I bought it for my wife 20 years ago after the seller had the mother bird had a few eggs. It was a bird pet shop. After the bird was hatched we were required to visit the bird half a dozen times before the pet shop owner released it to us. Very vocal, smart, and says everything that goes along with its actions. I got my ass in trouble shortly after Baby was with us. The African Grey parrot Baby kept in saying, Lisa, you are so beautiful. Love you so much. WTF. My wife instantly looks at me and asks: Who is Lisa. Not only did I fool around or flirt with anyone but I didn’t even know a Lisa. I swore and offered to take a polygraph and offered to get all my phone records. Long story short, that bird tried to get me crucified for an action I didn’t commit nor even minutely close to committing. Birds and I don’t get along. I rather stick with dogs. Chase is my buddy. He’ll never throw me under the bus like Baby. From that point on, I stayed away from that double crossing lying poultry

Never owned a pure bred German Shepherd but had three German Shepherd mix in my life and all three were sweethearts. I am curious of pedigree large German Shepherd are good with children. I would think they would be but if you look at some of these beautiful German Shepherd dogs, boy they look elegant and mean. Lol.
