Former President Donald Trump was indicted in New York on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. These charges stem from allegations that Trump, along with his associates, manipulated business records within the Trump Organization to conceal payments made to silence damaging information during the 2016 presidential election. The indictment specifically details the misuse of business documents related to payments to Stormy Daniels and others, characterizing these expenditures falsely as legal expenses. This act is considered a felony under New York law because it was done with the intent to defraud and to conceal other crimes, including violations of federal campaign finance laws and state election laws (FactCheck.org) (Yahoo News – Latest News & Headlines).

This is bad when political hacks go after a former president on bullshit charges. Whether it is former President Donald Trump, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, former Presidents should be sheltered from getting arrested, and prosecution from any charges unless it is a charge of crime against the United States or crimes against humanity. Going after former President Donald Trump opens up a whole can of worms. Not right, and a total degradation of the United States. What the Democrats started is domestic chaoes and breakdown of the United States by stirring the political structure of our country. A war and the potential destruction of our country. Watch and see charges of other former Presidents coming in the coming weeks, months, and years.

Every single one of the prior presidents are guilty of much worse than Trump. The payments were labeled as legal fees. That is what they were.

The indictment of a former president, such as Donald Trump, is a highly significant and rare event in U.S. history and does not necessarily set a precedent that directly leads to indictments of other former presidents. The impact of such an event largely depends on the specific circumstances surrounding each case, including the nature of the alleged offenses and the evidence available.
Here are a few factors to consider:
-
Legal Precedents: While an indictment of one former president may raise public and legal scrutiny on the actions of others, each case would need to be evaluated independently based on its own merits and legal grounds. The U.S. legal system operates on the principle that criminal liability is personal and specific to the individual’s actions.
-
Political Implications: The indictment of a former president can have significant political repercussions and may lead to broader discussions about accountability for high office holders. However, these discussions may not necessarily result in further indictments unless there is clear legal justification.
-
Public Perception: Such events might change how the public perceives the accountability of political leaders, potentially leading to greater expectations for legal and ethical behavior both in and out of office.
-
Statute of Limitations: For any legal action against former presidents, the statute of limitations could be a factor depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of the alleged offenses.
Ultimately, the indictment of any former president would depend on specific legal factors and evidence related to individual cases rather than being directly influenced by the indictment of another president like Donald Trump.

I do not actually have any specific information about potential indictments for other former presidents BUT I am sure other former presidents have done far worse things than former President Donald J. Trump. The indictment of former President Donald Trump related to an alleged hush money payment is an unprecedented event in American history. However, each case would need to be evaluated individually based on the specific facts and evidence by authorized prosecutors and grand juries.
Indictments of current or former presidents would require clearing very high legal bars proving potential crimes beyond a reasonable doubt. Simply being investigated or accused is not sufficient grounds for an indictment.
Whether other former presidents could potentially face indictments would depend on if credible evidence of criminal conduct surfaces that prosecutors believe can sustainably make a case in court. The Department of Justice has traditionally aimed to enforce laws without regard to political affiliations.
That said, indictments of former presidents raise complex Constitutional questions around executive power, immunities, and the separation of powers that would likely be vigorously contested if pursued based on the legal precedents established.
Ultimately, I don’t have insight into any potential pending cases. But any indictment decisions would need to clear appropriately high evidentiary standards while working through inevitable legal challenges in an unbiased manner based on the specific set of facts involved. Generalized speculation would not be appropriate.

They are setting themselves up. Barack Obama, Joe Biden, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton are all going to become targets.
