Free CE Courses for NEXA MLOs
I just wanted to give a quick heads up in case you didn’t know that NEXA loan officers get free continuing education courses through Lenders One, covering both national and state hours.
I found an old email from June about CE access through Lenders One, but the link was expired. I just emailed them for an updated one, logged in through the LOLA portal, went to Continuing Education, and added the courses to my basket for $0.
I already completed my state course, and it worked fine. Just wanted to pass it along in case anyone else wants to take advantage of the free option instead of paying for CE elsewhere.

Thank you for sharing this information. I had no idea that NEXA loan officers could obtain free CE courses through Lenders One. Also, I appreciate you notifying me of the broken link and your effort to obtain an updated link. I will log into the LOLA portal and review the Continuing Education section to obtain those free courses. Did you have difficulties incorporating them into your basket, or was it problem-free? Also, I would appreciate any suggestions regarding which of the national courses I ought to take. Thank you once more for sharing this.

Glad I could help. For me, it took about a day after getting my login credentials before I was able to access the Continuing Education tab, so that might be something to keep in mind in case you run into the same delay. I didn’t have any issues adding the courses to my basket or opening them once everything was active though. I just selected my state and chose the 8-hour package, which already includes the 1-hour state-specific course.
They also have separate 1-hour state options available. If you’re licensed in multiple states, you can probably just select the 1-hour course for each additional state.

Chad, do they have mortgage processing and mortgage underwriting courses? I am curious on what type of training program they have for mortgage processing and underwriting.

I’m not sure on that. I only saw MLO courses, but maybe they have the types of courses you’re looking for through a different access point on their website. You’d probably want to reach out to them and see.
