Politicians take care of their special interest groups, such as the police, fire, and teacher’s union and its retirement fund. Illinois pensions for police, fire, and teachers are broke and operating in the red. Pretty soon they will run out of money. Not only does everything the state touches turn to shit, but the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago are in big trouble because they blew millions of dollars, if not billions, in harboring illegal immigrants.
