Elementary monkeys are able to form strong attachments with their mothers. This is true for Stumptail Macaques (Macaca arctoides) – They are a very interesting and a caring type of primate. These sweet primates wrap around their mothers and do not let go even as they progress into adulthood.
Due to these reasons, they are the most emotionally attached primates in the animal kingdom. But what could be the possible reasons for Stumptail monkeys refusing to let go of their mothers? Let us dive deeper into the psychology of these deeply intertwined relationships.
