It’s a great goal, and it’s an achievable goal to strive for. I think money is somewhat under the classification of revenue and expense. I do not think I would have a goal to make the most money. It isn’t very easy, but it is a great topic of discussion. Money can come and go. Therefore, money is not wealth, nor is it financial security. So, what is wealth? Wealth is the people you surround with who have your back: They are there for you to succeed, help, care for you, and share similar goals. You are who you hang out with. Wealth is knowledge, education, and experience. Nobody can take that away from you. Wealth is happiness, achieving the position in the field and industry you want to impact positively. My definition of money, success, wealth, and happiness is the following:
Whatever you do, you will have clients who need your expertise, knowledge, and integrity. What makes you different than the competition is the question you need to ask. My goal in the field I am in or will be in is the following: Do the very best you can for each customer. Do not think about how much money you will make. God’s formula is to work your ass off for each customer, and when your customer is above and beyond satisfied with what you did for them, you will make money. Money is your report card, my man. It is because of this client that you made dollars $$$$$, it is because of this client because you made a difference in their lives (whether it is big or small), and because of this customer, you will be getting repeat business. Because of this customer, you will get referrals and a great name. Well, what makes you an expert in your field? To accomplish this goal, you need to surround yourself with professionals who strive to be the best of the best in your field. You need to go outside your circle to gain more knowledge. You need to be humble and caring and always think about reversing the role and putting yourself in the customer’s situation. What will make Tristyn a lifelong happy customer of the professional servicing your business? Great topic, Tristyn. There are no right or wrong answers here. Everyone has a different definition of wealth. Mine is money is your report card. You go above and beyond for your client. No matter how big or small, the end performance result is money. Money is your report card.
