Illinois has similar property taxes. It is safe to say, more often than not, the taxes are nor commensurate with the property value. It is unfortunate.
Do you feel the state of New Jersey and individual counties provide adequate social services and infrastructure to compensate for the higher taxes?

I assume modifications and silent second mortgages will play a large part in remediation.

Yes, they report to all 3 bureaus. The cost is minimal.
I usually have them do Experian Boost as well.
I still like Credit Strong quite a bit. There are also a number of services that can help provide aged tradelines. I will send you the contact information.
I agree, so many people with scores below 500 right now. I have used this service to bump their scores over 500 so we can at least get them qualified. We can work on really repairing their credit after they are safely in their home.
